About the Author

Esperanza Pretila is a Filipino Australian author, founder, and former naval officer. She was the first female Editor in Chief of the Philippine Military Academy’s publication and recipient of the Journalism Award, and the inaugural awardee of its Languages Plaque. Her professional background spans human resources, public service, and leadership across various sectors. She lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with his husband Jun and sons Huey, Sev, and Noah.
