Multiverse Mayhem by Aurora Winter Wins Book Excellence Award and The Bookish Reader’s Pick Award

Multiverse Mayhem, a fantasy novel by Aurora Winter, has received two new literary honors: the Book Excellence Award from OneTribune Media and The Bookish Reader’s Pick Award from The Bookish Magazine.

The Book Excellence Award recognizes titles demonstrating literary achievement, creativity, and reader impact. According to the award committee, the honor is granted to books that “inspire, inform, and transform readers across the globe,” and “signifies not only outstanding craftsmanship but also meaningful contribution to the literary world.”

In addition, the novel has been selected as The Bookish Reader’s Pick, a title awarded to books chosen directly by readers for their resonance, storytelling, and emotional connection. The Bookish Awards describe this recognition as highlighting “the power of literature to inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting impact.”

The novel presents a protagonist, Ana Zest, who loses her tongue in the early chapters, rendering her unable to speak spells or express herself in conventional ways. Through the story, the character tackles multiversal danger, silence, moral complexity, and magical resistance. As The Bookish Magazine's review notes, “Ana’s voice is taken from her—literally—and yet, the reader never loses her. In fact, it’s when she goes silent that the book begins to roar.”

OneTribune Media's review commends the book for avoiding genre convention and offering nonlinear moral structures. “What makes Multiverse Mayhem so delightfully unpredictable is its refusal to stick to fantasy tropes. The love interest might also be the villain… the cute dog companion? A wooden ex-canine with loyalty coded into his bark.”
